Introducing Norma!

Hi I am Julia Home – a wife and a mother of 2 teenage children.

I lost a lot of weight in 2007 (about 30kg), and have participated in several running events of various distances, some triathlons and a few biking events.

After more than 8 months of inactivity for recovery, I put on weight which made trying to start any activity difficult. I started to try to run again, but with the uneven surfaces of the roads and footpaths from the September earthquake, I developed a stress fracture in my foot and ended up in a moon-boot for many weeks.
