Earthquake Update @ MINT

Finally .... we have been informed that if everything goes to plan then Victoria street will reopen approx 16th April.  We have some minor structural issues that need attention at Mint before we can open up (thanks Will for your assistance with our structural engineering report!), but hopefully this wont take an undue period of time to sort.   Additionally, the interior of Mint  is a bit "munted" but the team will be working hard to get us back to 'Mint Condition'!We will keep you informed of progress as we go but we are aiming to be open mid-late April.

Thank you!

Thank you all for the support you have shown Mint Health & Fitness throughout this challenging time.  We are thoroughly enjoying having many of you training at 'Mini Mint' in Peacock street which has been very social!  Mikes barista skills have undergone significant improve'mint'!

Equally our massage team 'Jodi, Carina & Jenna' have been outstanding in their dedication to getting out and about providing mobile 'stress busting' massage to many corporate clients managing the disruption of relocations.
If there is anything the Mint team can do to help any of our members or clients please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards,

Mike & Di McCauley

Personal Training/Group Fitness

Scores of gyms, fitness facilities and class venues are out of action which has prompted local personal trainers and group exercise instructors to band together in offering this free session to anyone of any fitness level.

If ever there was a time to embrace regular exercise this is it.  We know exercise relieves stress, improves mood and makes people feel more positive and as many of us don't have facilities at the moment we'll use local parks to get people together and moving. This is the Fitness Professionals way of helping Christchurch people recover and feel more able to cope both physically and emotionally.

There's a FREE workout going on this Saturday 2nd April at 12 noon.  We would love you to come along and join in, bring a friend or the rest of your family also.

You've got 4 venues to choose from:
  • Sumner Clocktower - Sumner
  • North Hagley Park -cnr Park Terr and Harper Ave   (Brian Rob, Jacqui and Mike will be here)
  • Woolston Park, Ferry Rd, Woolston
  • Broad Park, North Brighton
All fitness levels catered for and it takes place rain or shine.

If you could flick this onto any contacts you have - friends, family, workmates - who may be interested I'd be really grateful.
