Well, Tom obviously thinks I have recovered enough from my 90km bike in Wanaka and decided to start a program called EDT - Esculating Density Training - where you alternate between 2 exercises; doing 5 of each exercise for 10min, then quickly swap to another 2 for 10min, finishing off with 2 more for the final 10mins. 10mins run walk on the treadmill and into it with leg press and dumbells for the first 10 mins, cable row and press-ups for the second 10mins and finishing off with 5kg medicine ball above your head while walking up and down the stairs then adding tricep pulley for the last 10mins. This was then followed by 2x planks.
I think the sweat was dripping off me and onto the mat at the same time the seconds were ticking away while doing the planks!!!! It was great and I can't wait till the next one ... well maybe I should reserve that statement until I wake up in the morning and see how my muscles feel!
