PERSONAL TRAINING – THE MINT WAY

… is not what we're about - except possibly Brian on a bad day. Instead, we'll develop a personalised plan that'll take you sweating but smiling from where you are now to where you want to be.

First up, on joining you'll meet with a trainer to assess your fitness levels (and rest assured, we've seen them all). Then we'll work to take you through our three-stage training process.

STAGE ONE: Technique and Conditioning.

We'll get you performing basic body mechanical exercises. At the same time we'll work on your cardiovascular conditioning, so you avoid fatigue and injury. This stage is all about giving your fitness a solid foundation, and when each further stage is reached you'll return here but at a higher level.

STAGE TWO: Strength and Posture.

We increase the complexity of exercises. We work on developing your core – integral to proper posture and your ability to perform everyday activities. And we increase your cardiovascular conditioning – longer, faster, harder, but nothing you won't be ready for.

STAGE THREE: Power and Advanced.

Now we develop an advanced training programme that meets your specific requirements.

And we'll assess you every 4-6 weeks to ensure you're progressing and on track.

At Mint we know there's more to fitness than how much you can bench-press or how far you run. Our three stage training approach is an integrated mind and muscle technique. Strength, Flexibility, Balance, Coordination – we work on them all.
